The 500 SEC Air Conditioning (AC) has not yet been retrofitted for R134 and would likely cost $1K+ to have the system upgraded and ready to go!

The 500 SEC has original "Silver Blue" #930 Mercedes-Benz paint. There is no body damage but there are chips and scratches and some water spots on the car and a respray may be recommended in the future.

The Front Grey Leather seats are comfortable and the electric motors work on both the Driver and Passenger seats to move  back/forward and recline. The Back Grey Leather seats are a bit stiff and a refresh on both Front and Back seats may be recommended in the future.

An engine compression check was done across the eight cylinders, and they are all in the same tolerance and psi. The 5.0 litre engine provides smooth power ~225 bhp if it is a Euro motor. Vacuum and idle/timing are very important and may need some fine tuning.

I can provide copies of a 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC Technical manual PDF. These documents are very helpful when troubleshooting the complexity of these German classic cars.

This 500 SEC was born and raised in California, but it has " the rare Lorinser Euro Body Trim / 16" Rims and low stance that gives this 500 SEC "The Cool Factor and the Miami Vice Look."
